What is Free-Writing?

"Only in the end will you know what you are saying."

-Peter Elbow ( free-writing pioneer)

Free-writing is a approach similar to brainstorming but written in sentence and paragraphs without the usual concern for technique, grammar, and punctuation. It's done continuously for a set period of time. Free writing reduces the chance you'll accidentally censor yourself. The result is your raw, honest thoughts. All levels of english fluency welcome. According to MIT Center for Global Studies and Language, free-writing increases fluency in second language learners!
